Blogger LaShawn Barber is one of my favorites. She's a good sensible Christian woman whose comments on current events are not to be missed. She writes a commentary on a little dust up among some liberal folks who want the radio airwaves to be filled with a ratio that reflects the political leanings of their audience. If 23% identify themselves as liberal, then 23% of talk radio should be liberal... if I understand it correctly. The idea is to compel station owners to see to it that they have liberal hosts who reflect the views of their audience and measure the on air hours, I suppose, to assure compliance. And if they fall behind, the government is to make them pay a fee that goes to the Corporation For Public Broadcasting.
